Charlie;
When you have a chance would you make an address change for Peg and I. To:
Scott & Peggy Boyd
17919 Timber View
Tampa, Florida 33647
This time I would like to keep up with our class mates, and visa versa. I will be changing my net address after May 5th but that's another story.
Thanks;
Scott
#1 I don't want to lose my
audience
this quickly, and
#2 I really can't remember
much
prior to the last few years!
After being shot down in Viet Nam a few times and losing too many of nine lives, I decided to join the corporate sector with E& J Gallo Wine Co. and Carling National brewery. Peg and I enjoyed a great 15 years of traveling throughout the world, but there finally came a time to "DRY OUT", unpack the bags and settle down.
During this time Peg was employed by the Government with the FBI, IRS, Veterans Admin. and Small Business Administration. It was in the latter position for which she was recognized as the outstanding employee of the year for the United States. I couldn't have been prouder than if I were a new father. But being given the choice of the two, I'm glad it wasn't the latter!
Now we enter the automobile business, and was that a brutal awakening. In twenty years I think this profession is still ranked nationally in integrity just below a politician, but thankfully one position above a lawyer! Hopefully being associated with Jaguar for sixteen years gives me some redeeming grace. I have sent a picture to Charlie to be included with this rambling, but be kind if you plan to comment on it.
I look forward to the 45th reunion, and with any luck I'll remember this one!

Scott,
If you have digital versions of pictures on your computer, it is easy to attach the pictures to emails. Many picture developers give you the option to get digital prints. Digital cameras produce them, also, of course. If all you have is hard copies, then they need to be scanned.
It is probably best to just send the hard copy pictures to me, and I can scan them, crop them, adjust the contrast and brightness, etc., and put them on the web page for you. Pictures of your kids and grandkids are also welcome, of course. Whatever you want to share....
As for the verbiage, send as much info as you like. All the stuff you send will be put on your own separate page, which can be accessed by anyone, even via Internet search engines. I generally try to put everything I get on the web pages somewhere.
Glad to hear from you after all of these years!

Since I am a complete computer novice I am sure there is some way to send photos to you for the web. But can I cop out and simply send them to you for addition to the web? If so please let me know where to send them, and then in the next few daysI'll email you a thumb nail update on what Peggy and I have been doing the last few years.
Thanks again,
Scott
Scott,
Sorry you missed the reunion! We have had a reunion web site up for more than two years and managed to track down a good number of people, either by word of mouth or thru classmates.com. It was indeed a memorable event! You can see a few pictures linked to the web page under "new stuff," and many more will be added as people send me their photos.
Your first message (sent to <amphi1962@technidigm.org>) got thru OK to most people. You will always get a couple of trouble messages back for those people who have problems with their email or who have changed their address and not told us. If you look at those delivery failure emails closely, you can figure out who did not get your email, but that should only be a couple of people.
I have started a web page on our site for you. You can get to it from http://technidigm.org/amphi62.htm under the new stuff. The more emails, photos, or letters you send me, the more I can put on the web site. Check out Jan Vecchio's pages as she won the "Best Web Pages Award" for Reunion 2002.
So far, you are in charge of the next reunion (no one else has yet applied for the job!), which we are contemplating doing in 5 years. It may end up being another 10 years, but that may be a bit distant as we approach the golden years! Maybe we could all come to Florida and visit you and Peggy!

Charlie Jones

I tried to email everybody on the list but for some reason they couldn't deliver the emails.
Sorry I missed the reunion, but I was informed there would not be one this year, but combined with our following class next year. Jim Stiles found me yesterday, but maybe you can add the name and address to the web since I would love to hear from the attendees.

I just wanted to take a moment to say hello, and apologize for missing what appears to have been a fantastic class reunion. When I called to inquire about dates and times, I was told there would not be a reunion this year, but combined with our following class next year.
Jim Stiles was able to track me down, but found me just yesterday. It was great to see all the names of close friends who made it. Drop me a email or better yet call and use my nickel, 800-330-2887X2118.

Also if you have any pictures from the reunion I would love to see them, and yes I will return them. I guess the only way to make sure I don't miss out on the 45th is to become part of the organizing committee. So if you need another helper let the appropriate people know. If you get by this way please stop in and say hello.
God bless and take care.
